Grand Blue Beach Hotel has been awarded with the Luxury Eco/Green Hotel Global Award, in the World Luxury Hotels Awards ceremony held on October 2^nd at the Trou Aux Biches Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa in Mauritius.
This prestigious Award Institution recognizes excellence in various fields, for luxury hotels worldwide.

  The exceptional work that has been done in Grand Blue Beach Hotel in regards to the Environment, motivated guests from around the world to vote in this category and we deeply thank them.
Grand Blue has been “Eco” oriented since the construction-phase, with low-impact building materials, high performance windows and extra insulation for energy conservation.

  In its daily operation some of the green practices followed are: hot water solar panels, heat pumps for cooling, meticulous recycling and food waste management, energy efficient appliance and devices, soil erosion preventive gardening, low-flow toilets, linen re-use, local organic food served, use of non-disposable dishes, bulk organic soap and amenities, chlorine-free cleaning agents and detergents, regular beach clean-up and so much more.
